It looks like Santa has something really special for musicians this year – a networking app for musicians, a social-professional networking app for classical and jazz musicians. gigglemusic is now available for download on your devices, be it an iPhone or iPad (iOS) or and Android-based tablet or smartphone. It took about a year to develop it and more than a year since we had the idea. The app is meant to help trained musicians and other professionals in the music industry to create a profile with endorsements and detailed listing of their qualifications. The professional musicians, as well as students or amateurs, soloists or musical ensembles, can find other musicians, music events and music groups, can create those events and groups, manage them, manage a diary (public and private), filter the lists of musicians, music events and music groups. There is a wide array of filters, including location/distance, ability level, style, musical instrument and more. The creators – a small start-up company based in Prague, Czechia, set-up by three Brits, are planning on adding a great deal of features and are currently working on further improvements.
